He has more than 15 years of experience in cyber incident communications planning, issues management, incident response, and executive communications for major cybersecurity companies. He builds crisis and issues response communications plans to prepare organizations to respond to a variety of critical cyber incidents, emerging public policy developments, cyber threats and vulnerabilities, geopolitical events, and other related issues posing severe corporate reputation risks.
He has also developed and managed executive thought leadership communications on the evolving cyber threat landscape, the technology policy environment impacting businesses, and the economic impact of cyber-attacks. This includes work with executives at the CEO, President, CIO, CTO, CMO, CPO, CISO, SVP and VP levels.
His background includes a mix of in-house and communications firm experiences, including management positions at leading public relations firms Weber Shandwick and Burson Marsteller, and in-house roles in corporate communications, strategic marketing, and public relations for organizations such as McAfee, Intel, Entrust and Trellix.
Chris holds a MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BA in English Language and Literature from University of Southern California.
